Corporate Social Responsibility
The Earth’s resources are dwindling and we keep overshooting what the Earth can supply by summertime each year. We must leave as little of an imprint on this world as possible so there is a liveable planet for future generations. As a business owner I pledge to act responsibly committing to the following Corporate Social Responsibility principles:
1. Office & Product Packaging
Reduce paper and energy consumption: by minimising paper waster; choosing recycled and non-bleached options; recycling, reusing and up-cycling paper and cardboard; using non-plastic and glue-free options; choosing eco and non-toxic options for stationary; turning off electrical equipment when not in use.
2. Promote Greener Travel
Biking or walking to local appointments when possible rather than using the car; opting for the train to London rather than driving.
3. Stock
Choosing local makers, ethical and sustainably made products.
4. Furniture and Decor Materials
Work with clients to consider sustainable and non-toxic options; second-hand, vintage and antique alternatives; look to reposition or repurpose existing objects; upcycling and avoiding landfill where possible with selling or donating unwanted items.
5. Building Materials
Work with trade to consider sustainable and non-toxic options; reduction of waste on site; repurposing, recycling or reusing left over materials.
