What services do you offer?

Beautiful Healthy Home offers a full range of residential interior design services, from single-room makeovers to full-home redesigns. This includes space planning, colour consultation, furniture and décor selection, lighting design, and styling. I also provide virtual consultations for remote clients. Do you have a specific design style?

Whether you prefer modern, classic, eclectic, or something in between, I believe in creating designs that reflect the personality, lifestyle, and needs of the client. I’ll work with you to design a space that feels like home.

Alongside an excellent eye for detail and design, strong spatial awareness, and a natural ability to find the best solution, I offer a warm, collaborative approach. Process & Timeline


How long does the interior design process take?

This depends on the scope of the project. A single-room refresh may take 4-6 weeks, while a full-home redesign could take several months. I’ll provide a clear timeline at the start, particularly if I am taking on a project management role within the project as well, so you know exactly what to expect.


How do we know we will be happy with the end result?

Collaboration is key! Before making any final decisions, we’ll explore ideas together using Pinterest boards, the Houzz Pro dashboard, and Zoom calls. The design process includes an initial round of CADs, mood boards, and material selections, followed by a second and final round with refinements based on your feedback. This ensures you are completely happy before we move forward.


Can you work with my existing furniture?

Absolutely! I love incorporating meaningful or existing pieces into the design. If something doesn’t quite fit, I can suggest ways to update, repurpose, or style it differently to your liking.


Do you provide 3D renderings or mood boards?

Yes, I provide mood boards, material samples, and CAD drawings to help you visualise your space before any major commitments are made.


Budget & Costs


How much does interior design cost?

Every project is unique, and pricing depends on the size and complexity of the job. I offer flexible pricing options, including flat fees and hourly rates. Please see breakdown below:

Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is £95 for the first hour, with additional time charged at £75/hour.

Design work Costs depend on the number of spaces and design tools required, starting from £695 for a single room. Prices are set per room/property based on an estimated number of hours at £75/hour. I won't exceed the agreed amount unless design parameters change or additional services are requested.

Travel I travel up to 30 miles by car from Southend-on-Sea free of charge. Beyond this, a travel fee of £45 applies. London sourcing differs, please contact me directly to understand more.

Project Planning & Management This includes creating/updating project plans and spreadsheets, managing timeframes, liaising with trades, and responding to queries. An initial block of hours is proposed at £55/hour, with records kept. Partway through, I’ll update you on progress and advise if additional hours are needed.

Purchasing As I am only a small company, I do not have the resources to purchase then invoice on behalf of a client. If you wish to organise a pre-loaded pay card I am happy to take on board the ordering and deliveries to ensure everything arrives on time and fits the design plan. I would keep transparent records of all purchases including invoices and delivery notes, only purchasing agreed products from a signed-off Purchasing sheet. I would ensure all deliveries meet the required expectations.


Can you work within our budget?

Always! Working within budget is key. I can help you achieve a beautiful, functional space at a budget that works for you. We’ll discuss cost-effective options and prioritise key investments to get the best results.


We don’t want to be sent loads of docs and emails—how do you manage the project?

I use a professional design and project management tool called the Houzz Pro app. This keeps all project documents, designs, and communications in one secure place. You’ll have your own client dashboard where you can track everything at a glance—no endless email chains or lost documents! If needed, we can also grant access to tradespeople like builders for seamless coordination.


LOGISTICS & EXECUTION


Do you handle purchasing and ordering?

As I am only a small company, I do not have the resources to purchase then invoice on behalf of a client. Yes, I collaborate with trusted builders, electricians, decorators, and other professionals to bring the design to life. If you already have preferred tradespeople, I’m happy to coordinate with them as well.


What if I change my mind during the process?

The design process is built to allow for refinements before anything is finalised. However, if changes are requested after orders have been placed or work has begun, there may be additional costs involved. I’ll always keep you informed so you can make the best decision for your project.


Final Details


Do you offer post-installation support?

Yes, I provide a final walkthrough to ensure every detail is just right. If any issues arise after installation, I’ll be happy to assist.


How do I maintain my newly designed space?

I provide care instructions for furniture, materials, and décor so you can keep your space looking fresh and beautiful for years to come.
